Why Attend

## From evidence to action

This masterclass brings Canadian evidence, practical algorithms, peer experience, and case-based discussion together to help clinicians apply current approaches in practice.

Participants will explore:

- Practical aspects of implementing the new cardiac surgery bleeding algorithms, using both point-of-care and laboratory-based testing.
- The role of allogeneic blood products (ABPs) in bleed events requiring coagulopathic management.
- The role of 4F-PCC in DOAC bleed management: Canadian consensus and what it means for the ER, community hospitals and surgical setting.
- Practical strategies for overcoming local implementation barriers
